As most of you know, Hallie has the privilege of being born just before Christmas, on Dec 22nd. We
tried to make it a special day for her with all the birthday trappings. Daddy has a birthday just after
Christmas and has endured his share of combo gifts, etc. He therefore wants to make sure that
Hallie's day remains special and does not get lost in all the holiday celebrating. So Janelle went all
out and decorated the apartment with birthday gear. We did the tradition of letting the baby
eat/destroy a birthday cake. Hallie made the appropriate mess and seemed to like her special day.
