The 2nd week of February is a holiday in Switzerland for their favorite religious observance...skiing. That's right, all the kids in the country are let out of school for at least a week to go skiing. We felt like we should take part of this tradition so we made arrangements to go back to Davos. Greg was in the states for a big presentation and arrived back in Switzerland on Sunday morning. After doing some quick laundry, we headed up to the mountains in time for dinner. We had a great week. We arranged for private lessons for Nicole and Rachel. At first they were less than enthused, but warmed up to them as they made progress. By the end of the week Nicole skied from the top of the hill to the bottom by herself, 4 times! Rachel went down from the top as well, with a little help from her instructor. Mom and Dad took some lessons as well, and were able to impersonate real skiers by the end of the week. We also had some great meals, skating, sledding and even an hour long sleigh ride Enjoy the photos!
