For our last big trip of the summer we packed up the van and the boat and went to Table Rock Lake in Branson, MO. We traded our timeshare for a week at Stormy Point village. Janelle's mom, grandma Doris, flew in to join us for the week. The resort was very quaint, each unit is a separate cape cod house. There was also a marina on site where we rented a slip for our boat. We spent alot of time either on the lake or in the pool at the clubhouse. Table Rock is a great lake with lots of restaurants and marinas on the water to explore. Nicole and Rachel each tried waterskiing for the first time. When the weather turned rainy we went into Branson for the normal tourist activities. We saw the Chinese acrobats perform, took in an Imax movie and shopped like crazy. Overall it was a great trip!    [ August 2011 / 28 images ]
