Europa Park in Rust, Germany

May 6th we took the kids to an amusement park in Rust (pronounced "roost"), Germany called
Europa Park. We went to Eurodisney last year, and even though we enjoyed it, it paled in
comparison to the parks in the states. Heading to Rust, given our disappointment with Disney last
year, I envisioned us being entertained by a farmer pulling us around in an Ox cart, showing us the
local harvest or something. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Europa Park is an excellent
amusement park. The hotel we stayed in was connected to the park, which was huge. We were
there 2 days and probably did not see all of it. The weather was perfect and we had a great time.
