Piazza Castello, which is entirely porticoed, is the hub of city life and bordered by the main churches
and palaces..."Who cares - just give me some McDonald's!"  So, the girls enjoyed a relaxing golden
arches meal on a bench in front of Palazzo Madama in the piazza.  To get some perspective, you
can see the girls sitting on the bench down in the bottom right corner of the third photo.
Via Garibaldi, a pedestrian shopping street, and a
pit-stop to enjoy some chokolate & limone gelato

Views of Lugano, Switzerland (southern, Italian speaking part of Switzerland) complete with palm trees, Swiss
Alps, Lake Lugano and lots of pasta and pizza.  We stopped here for dinner on our way back to Zurich.
